SHIPPING & RETURNS

At Grounded Art NZ, we want your artwork to arrive safely and for you to love it. Here's how shipping, returns, and refunds work.
 

Processing times


Orders are usually processed and packed within 1-2 business days. During busy periods, such as Christmas - processing may take a little longer, we'll let you know if there's a delay. Larger and made-to-order or commissioned pieces have their own timeframe, which we'll confirm with you when you order.
 


Shipping within New Zealand


We ship throughout New Zealand using Post Haste Couriers and Bascik Transport for our larger items and orders.


International shipping


For international orders, please contact us directly and we will provide a shipping quote to your location.


Tracking your order


Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow its journey. If you haven't received tracking details within 5 business days, please get in touch at groundedartnz@xtra.co.nz



Packaging


All of our artwork is carefully packaged to protect them in transit. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging, and we'll sort out a replacement or refund.

 


Returns

 

We offer a hassle-free returns and replacement policy, if you are not completely happy with what you receive, just get in touch and we will sort it out.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you've changed your mind about a piece, you can return it within 10 days days of delivery, provided it is unused and in its original condition

**Please note:** Commissioned, custom, or made-to-order pieces are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, as these are created specifically for you.
To start a return, contact us at groundedartnz@xtra.co.nz with your order number and reason for return. We'll confirm the next steps once we hear from you.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item arrived faulty or damaged.

 


Refunds


Once we've received and checked your returned item, we'll get in touch with you regarding your refund. Refunds refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5 business days.



Faulty or damaged items


If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Please contact us at groundedartnz@xtra.co.nz as soon as possible, with photos of the item and its packaging, so we can resolve this quickly.



Exchanges


If you'd like to exchange an item for a different piece, please contact us at groundedartnz@xtra.co.nz. Exchanges are subject to availability and follow the same conditions as returns above.
